Twelve years in software, the last six making frontends behave.
I am a Frontend Tech Lead in Berlin. Angular, TypeScript, RxJS and NgRx day to day, and I still ship backend: Python services at byrd through 2026, a Java to Kotlin migration, and earlier full-stack work in C# and .NET, Django and Vue. I care about component-driven architecture and design systems as much as I care about hiring, code review and CI/CD, because in my experience the second list is what decides whether the first one survives contact with a real team.
byrd technologies, Berlin
- Promoted to Frontend Tech Lead in Aug 2024, leading frontend architecture for a B2B logistics platform: 12 fulfillment centers, four production frontends, roughly 309,000 lines of TypeScript.
- Top contributor to federkleid, the shared Angular design system, 77 components and 166 icons, plus the eight co-versioned domain packages all four applications consume.
- Moved domain state out of per-app code into shared versioned packages, flag-gated, one domain at a time, and ran four major Angular upgrades across the dashboards, the design system and the shared packages, including the typed-forms migration.
- Interviewed, hired and onboarded frontend engineers, and mentored across teams through code review, pairing and knowledge sharing.
- Kept roughly 9,900 Karma and Jasmine unit and component tests green across the frontend estate, behind a custom CI gate that fails any build containing a skipped spec.
- Shipped 18 merged changes into byrd's Python warehouse service from 2022 to 2026, Flask with SQLAlchemy and Marshmallow, more than half the diff in tests, and led the migration of the Android warehouse app from Java to Kotlin.
Assistr Digital Health Systems, Berlin
Joined a healthcare platform for elderly and assisted living at inception and owned delivery from early research through to production: REST services and admin panels on Django and PostgreSQL, and the Vue frontend built test-first with Jest.
AppFlow Solutions, Faridabad
Built an intranet data-input application for a US hospitality client in C# on ASP.NET MVC, including its profit and loss module, Azure AD authentication, and an automated file pipeline on Azure Logic Apps and Functions.
INF India, Faridabad
Built a loyalty card management system end to end: the REST API and the web frontend in C# on ASP.NET MVC, and the SQL Server schema behind them, stored procedures and triggers included. First engineering job, and the one where I learned what owning a whole vertical slice feels like.
Before that, teaching
Nearly three years teaching C#, .NET, ASP.NET, C, C++ and SQL to students and working professionals, and mentoring the other trainers. It is where I learned that an explanation someone can act on beats one that is merely correct, which turns out to be most of what technical leadership is.
Practicalities
Based in Berlin. Hindi native, English fluent, German at B1. I hold permanent residence, so there is no visa sponsorship to arrange.
